ABA joins Family Day to promote family reunion and cultural difference

ABA Bank is proud to support the Family Day event hosted by Footprints International School and aimed at fostering the family reunion and promotion of cultural diversity among children and families.
Being held at the Premium Sport Club in Phnom Penh on January 27, 2019, the event consisted of various activities such as the food demonstration from various countries, cultural performances, book exhibition, face painting and other fun activities for both children and their parents. In part, ABA Bank organized an entertainment program with coloring books and crayons for children to develop their painting skill as well as a clown to entertain the children, while their parents could consult ABA staff on the Bank’s products and even open their first account on the spot.
Speaking about the event, Ms. Romny Theam, Regional Manager of ABA Bank said, “Family Day is a great event that brings everyone together as one big family. There are all sorts of games and activities in this event, which are more than just for fun but to develop the children’s skills, nurture their sense of community as well as to build better social skills amongst themselves.”
Over 1,200 parents and children participated in Family Day 2019. ABA has been a Premium Sponsor of the Family Day since 2015 in line with its CSR policy and core values.
About Footprints International School:
Footprints International School (FIS) is a school dedicated to raising the quality of education in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Established in 2007, the school has grown from just 10 students to 1,000 students spreading across three campuses.
