ABA Bank supports AmCham's Annual General Meeting and Charity Gala Dinner

ABA Bank supported as a Gold Sponsor the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia's (AmCham) Annual General Meeting and Charity Gala Dinner held on 27 March 2024 in Phnom Penh.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, alongside other key government officials.

AmCham's Annual General Meeting 2024 was dedicated to celebrate the Chamber's achievements in 2023 and the introduction of the new Board of Governors. As part of the Governors selection process, ABA Bank Chief Risk Officer, Torsten Kleine Buening, was elected as a Board Governor for the 2-year term.

The event cleverly transitioned into a Charity Gala Dinner focusing on the crucial role of the private sector in Cambodia's economic growth.

Through its concerted efforts, AmCham has secured pledges exceeding $100,000 in scholarships for six education-focused NGOs. The Gala Dinner aimed to further bolster these efforts by raising additional funds.
